The retreat will occur in Le Chateau des Pauses, an old traditionnal demeure , in Les Cévennes, South of France.
This is a unique opportunity for those who have always dreamed to train and learn from and with the real Shaolin Monks.
Two Grand Masters, Shi Yong Chuan, highest autority from the Chinese Shaolin Tempel in Europe, and Shi Yong Dao, high expert in Tai Chi Chen and Shaolin Qi Gong, will open their knowledge, passion, wisdom and culture for this first retreat in France.
The daily program will cover Chan Meditation, Qi Gong and Tai Chi Chen style :
- Free participation to Meditation early mornings;
- 1h30 Shaolin Qi Gong training in the mornings;
- 1h30 Tai Chi Chen training in the afternoon.
In between the sessions you will have plenty of time to relax or explore the region...

Accommodation is in private or double room in one of the beautiful guest houses of Le Chateau des Pauses.
Price per person in full pension from Saturday 3d of September dinner to Thursday 8th of September lunch + training program + 1 outdoor expedition:

The closest city (about 60 km) is Montpellier. You can arrive by plane or by train. We recommand by train as Montpellier has a TGV fast train station. Paris airport is only 4 hours away and direct, and Lyon is about 2 hours.
There will be a free pick up from Montpellier on Saturday 3d of September (time to be confirmed) and two free drop off from Le Chateau des Pauses to Montpellier on:
- Thursday 8th of September, departure 10 am;
- Friday 9th of September, departure 10 am.

Additional Information
This is a great occasion for people from all levels and degree of expertise to have a better understanding of the Shaolin culture.
During this five days seminar, you will have the opportunity to visit some places of our beautiful region, and most of all to relax in this peaceful lieu, overlooking the valley and surrounded by oak and chesnuts forests.
The monks only speak Mandarin and some German. Seminars can be translated in English. It is however a plus if you speak German.
