Swimming with dolphins in the wild is something that appeals to people across all ages and boundaries. In a survey asking 20,000 people “What do you want to do before you die”, the top vote was swimming with dolphins. WildQuest is a company that facilitates this to happen very close to the coast of Florida, USA, on the Bahamian Island of Bimini.
Our Human-Dolphin Connection program is a week long retreat experience.
The WildQuest Retreat is modern, the rooms spacious. We go out every day on our catamaran DolphinQuest on the warm, clear, turquoise Caribbean Ocean, relaxing, swimming and connecting with these dolphins in their natural habitat. We have an excellent cook, the food is healthy and we can cater for most special dietary needs. There are daily yoga classes, as well as various group meditations. Everything is optional.
Many people have experienced that contact with these sentient beings has therapeutic effects on their physiology and spiritual/emotional state. The exquisite beauty and the joy they bring will expand all that you feel is good and well within you.

Timetable, Prices & Special Offers
Our week long retreats run from April to November. Each retreat starts on a Sunday at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the first great opportunity to meet the group.
The following morning we take the short flight to Bimini. We have five nights on the island, and five days out on our catamaran DolphinQuest.
The return flight to Fort Lauderdale is on the Saturday morning.
Bimini is a small island with few tourists and beautiful beaches.
The WildQuest Retreat is light, airy and spacious with its own bayside terrace.
Three nourishing meals are provided each day, with lunch usually taken onboard the boat. We have an excellent cook and our regular cuisine includes vegetarian, chicken or fish dishes.
We plan to go out to the dolphin grounds each day on our catamaran DolphinQuest, which has plenty of shade and space to move around. Typically we leave late morning and return at sunset in time for dinner, subject to weather conditions.
Every morning there will be a yoga class offered before breakfast, and various other meditations and sharing circles are offered during the week.
The price for the week is from US$1,595. This price is based on double occupancy. There are also some private single rooms available if you prefer not to share. Do check the website for more details.

Travel
Although our program is based in the Bahamas, you will need to get to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, where you will spend a night before flying over to Bimini on the island plane.
All visitors are required to have a valid passport upon entry to the Bahamas.
Arrange your travel to Fort Lauderdale International airport or the nearby Miami airport. Fort Lauderdale airport is the closest to the hotel, about a 15 minute taxi ride. Miami airport is about an hours ride from the hotel. Try to arrive before 4pm on the first day (Sunday), in time to meet the group at the hotel. We will arrange the island flight for you.
You will return to Fort Lauderdale and be cleared through customs around 11am on the following Saturday. If you wish to arrive in Florida earlier, or stay longer after the program to explore Florida we can help you with hotel accommodation.
