AdventureYogi Holidays has been created to offer yoga holidays with a big twist of action and fun in a responsible way.
Ski yoga is the refreshing way to take your ski holiday in France, or a fresh way to experience a yoga holiday. You will notice a big improvement in your skiing as a result of the 9 yoga classes taught spread over 7 mornings and evenings.
Running our ski and snowboard and yoga holidays now for 4 years in different resorts we know what our guests want. We place equal emphasis on the yoga and the skiing or snowboarding...this does mean that your day is jam-packed, but the yoga will balance all of the action and excitement out to leave you feeling great when you get home from the dynamism of the skiing and the relaxation and stretching from the yoga!
Located in La Rosiere which is linked with La Thuile, the ski area is called San Bernadino and is a beautiful and quaint ski area. None of the hustle and bustle of big resorts a real mountain escape. Our ski chalet is also a hidden gem. Gone are the crowds of big resorts. What you are left with is empty pistes and even emptier off-piste to find powder lines at any time of the day. Allow the yoga to wake you up in a dynamic way. Even if you feel stiff and sore, by day 3 you will be raring to go after the yoga practice. Enjoy the skiing then come off the mountain ready for your massage and warm down yoga class that will settle the mind and body ready for a hearty meal with local wines.
We also heavily incentivise train travel to encourage you to look after the environment on distance travel. Make the journey part of the adventure by travelling by train!

We will be in the French Alps with SnowYogi on this skiing/snowboarding and yoga holiday. Vitality foods, holistic treatments and fun in a beautiful tranquil location close to Les Arcs and Tignes.
Accommodation
The venue for SnowYogi 2012 is in La Rosiere, the French Alps. Chalet La Ferme, over 150 years old, is perched on the cliff edge looking out over the Tarantaise valley with 180 degrees view. The views from most of the rooms looks across to Les Arcs and St. Foy and down onto Bourg St. Maurice, or Vegas as some people call it at night, quite a sight! Montperron offers plenty of space to dine, sleep, relax, practice yoga. With a selection of room sizes & styles, we are able to offer a large range of accommodation to suit all tastes.
Choose from a variety of room options ideal for each budget. A cosy large bunk room, standard double or twin rooms and deluxe twin or double rooms with ensuite. The rooms are cosy, wooden panelled and spacious with stunning views of the ski area of Les Arcs with no other chalets in the vicinity. Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided.
A typical day
- 7.15am yoga to warm muscles and mind
- 8.30am energy filled breakfast
- 9-9.30am up to the slopes
- 9.30am - 5pm on the mountain all day. Lessons/guiding pre-arranged if desired
- 5pm-6,30pm relax, afternoon tes, sauna, massage
- 6.30pm - 8pm yoga to unwind and warm down achy muscles
- 8pm 3 course health fortifying evening meal with organic wines
- 10pm bedtime!
We offer 9 yoga classes spread over the 7 day ski yoga holiday. 4 in the morning for 1 hour and 5 in the evening for 1 1/2 hours. This gives you 2 mornings off and 2 evenings off to relax in front of the fire, sleep, read, bathe, enjoy each others company in our cosy cosy chalets!

Travel

Go by train: The train option is the best possible option and we have started heavily incentivising it to encourage awareness and respect to the planet. The train is a great option because it means that you leave Friday night, sleep in comfort, arrive in the morning and get a whole extra day on the slopes, 7 days skiing/boarding instead of 6. No long transfers, Bourg St Maurice is 20 minutes from the chalet. Arrive refreshed and ready to go AND get a FREE treatment for your efforts! So, just to remind you, if you come by train you additionally get:
* FREE transfers from Bourg-St-Maurice (no airport tax of £30)
* 1 hour FREE massage of your choice
* A goody bag worth £30 to help make your stay even more comfortable!
Go by plane: Fly to Geneva and your transfer will be included in the price of the holiday, however we do charge an airport tax of £30 to encourage you to go by train! Fly to Grenoble or chambery and you will have to arrange your own transfer. The transfer is about 2 1/2 hours. try train travel!
