Staying at our beautiful modern villa set in a wooded valley you are a walk away from the mediaeval village of Biot and the gorgeous Brague river valley, a short drive from world class art museums in Antibes, Vence and Nice and central to a range of walks and activities in the mountains behind us.
Guest accommodation is in our beautiful modern villa set in a wooded valley 10-15 minutes walk from the medieval village of Biot. Our guest bedrooms are all doubles or twins with en suite or adjacent shower or bathrooms and toilets, and they all have direct access either to the garden or the first floor terrace.
There is a large double height living room on the ground floor of the villa. We hold the art workshops and yoga classes either here, or weather permitting (which it generally does), outside in the gardens or further afield. There is a library with a range of literature and also a specific art section which focuses on local artists and art techniques. We provide fresh, healthy food, and most meals will be served in the shaded outside dining area which overlooks the pool and gardens. The gardens and pool are always available for your use and relaxation and we also have a trampoline and table tennis table.
The local villages are charming and the countryside stunning yet we are only 20 minutes from Nice airport and you can be on the beach in less than 10.

Art and relaxation breaks in the Spring of 2010
Our range of workshops - led by our faculty of experienced visiting artists - have all been developed
to take advantage of our unique location, drawing inspiration from the spectacular countryside and
the wide range of galleries nearby. We also offer daily yoga or Qi Gong classes which previous visitors
have found a great way to start the day. Proposed spring courses are listed below:
• Movement drawing and Qigong with Ray Atkins & Hsaio 18th – 24th April
• Life drawing with Ray Atkins 2nd – 8th May
• Painting visual reality & inner experience with Ray Atkins 9th – 15th May
• Chagall, Symbolism and Dreams with Terry Taylor 23rd – 29th May
• Architecture and nature with Terry Taylor 30th May – 5th June
• Painting and drawing in the Landscape with Terry Taylor 13th – 19th June
Prices
Art holidays – 6 days
£850 per person in their own room or £1500 for 2 participants sharing a room
N.B. The Life Drawing classes – including Figure Movement classes - will carry
a £75 supplement(max) per person to cover costs associated with hiring models.
These prices include:
• Breakfasts
• Lunch when on site or picnic when required
• Evening meals for 4 of the 6 days
• The instructors
• Transport associated with the courses and airport/rail station transfers
• All equipment and materials
These prices do NOT include:
• Flights or rail fares to and from Nice. You will need to arrange your own
flights to Nice Airport or your rail journey to Antibes.
• Restaurant meals and gallery entrance
• Travel outside the core art workshop or mountain activity programmes although we will help out when possible.
Options for payment are Paypal or cheque or bank transfer in Euros or Sterling.
Travel
By plane - You can fly direct into Nice Cote d'Azur airport from many European destinations and New York. See www.nice.aeroport.fr . We can organise to collect you from the airport - 20 minutes from the villa - or you can pick up a taxi or rental car
By train – Trains from Paris and Strasburg come into Antibes SNCF station as well as Nice. We can organise to collect you from Antibes Station – 10 minutes from the villa.
By car – There is plenty of parking space at the villa and we can send you detailed directions if you wish to make your own way here.
