Starting from compassion, care and being fully alive in the present moment, we connect with heart, humour, joy and love, to rediscover innocence and simplicity, learn to trust, be authentic and spontaneous.
Going beyond fear, inhibition or resistance, we find light-heartedness and serenity!We clown, play, sing, dance, use theatre games, voice-work, mime, meditation and emerge as clowns in a full celebration of love, life and laughter.
Rachel Caine, a former business woman, is a Sacred Clown Teacher and Shamanic Healer. She has travelled with a Circus, worked in theatre, hospitals, hospices, prison, with the homeless, the elderly in residential homes and with Special Needs adults and children, teaching throughout Europe.
She runs retreats at Cortijo Romero in Spain and privately in Ibiza, as well as courses throughout the UK and the Isle of Man. She is passionate about bringing love, life and laughter to our communities through the heart of the clown.

ONE YEAR TRAINING PROGRAMME IN SACRED CLOWNING (Dates to be announced for 2009/10).
The course consists of three UK retreats and one in Ibiza, Spain, including a performance in a residential home. An opportunity to explore deeply the path of the Sacred Clown and to begin to learn the art of the clown as a healer, with a view to becoming Sacred Clowns within our communities.
Previous workshop with Rachel is essential as a pre-requisite for this training (see weekend and week-long courses above).
