Il Collegio is a fantastic, enchanted retreat located in the southern heel of Italy. This retreat has been famously restored and brought back to life by owners Leonie Whitton and David Westby. Il Collegio offers painting workshops, culinary delights and a full programme of sun filled activities to entice almost everyone.
Il Collegio has featured on 'Grand Designs' where viewers witnessed the love, care and dedication required to make this retreat what it is today. This is a stunning, lovingly crafted haven for artists, gourmet cooks and those wanting a spark of inspiration or to celebrate a special occasion.

Pleasures of Puglia is a great mix of visits to local food and wine producers, terrific restaurants and visits in our minibus to places of cultural and historical interest. This very popular holiday includes a day of ‘hands-on’ cooking, hosted at a nearby 16thC.Masseria and tutored by a local chef. Pleasures of Puglia is £955 per person based on two people sharing a twin room at Impisi and adjacent villa. £1295 for single occupancy of a double room. The holidays run for ten days / nine nights and are available during early June.
Art Holidays are led by David Westby, a professional artist and experienced and enthusiastic teacher who gives time to both group work and individual tuition. The holiday includes demonstrations and workshops, with people doing as much or as little painting and drawing as they wish. Prices from £965 pp. Full board in twin /double accommodation at Impisi and adjacent villa. Single occupancy of double room £1365. The holidays are for ten days, for up to 14 people and take place in May and June.

We are sorry but there are no suitable facilities for babies and small children at Impisi. Wheelchair access is limited. The prices do not include travel to and from Italy and the pool is only available from 1st April to 30th September
Travel
Ryan air is still one of the cheapest carriers to and from Brindisi/Bari. However the return flights in to Stansted do not always get in at convenient times.
Alitalia do Heathrow to Brindisi or Bari flights at reasonable times of day, especially for the return flight.
